Elephant Room, Inc.

Elephant Room, Inc. opened in November of 2009 in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago. The gallery's primary focus is to exhibit both emerging and mid-career artists who draw from aspects of life to create a body of work that comments on their concerns or passions as related to contemporary society.  The gallery's purpose is to create a space for individuals and groups to visit the gallery to view, discuss, learn and interact with art.  The intimate space allows for the artist and curator to work together on the preparations for the exhibition, so that we can create a shared space most appropriate for their medium and work.  We are interested in continuing the dialogue on contemporary art and the importance of the accessibility of art by providing artist talks, workshops and other art-related events. Thank you for your interest!
